The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has unveiled plans to extend its support for Pakistani students by offering an additional 100 fully funded scholarships. This initiative builds upon the existing 600 scholarships, increasing the total to 700. These scholarships will provide educational opportunities across 25 esteemed Saudi universities, catering to various academic levels, from Diploma and Bachelor’s to Master’s and PhD programs.
Notably, the Pakistani embassy in Riyadh has confirmed that both Pakistani students currently residing in Saudi Arabia and those based in Pakistan are eligible to apply for these scholarships. To ensure wider access, 75% of these scholarships will be reserved for students in Pakistan, while the remaining 25% will be granted to individuals already living in Saudi Arabia.
This expansion of scholarship opportunities underscores the commitment of Saudi Arabia to foster education and strengthen ties with Pakistan, offering students a chance to pursue their academic goals in prestigious Saudi institutions.
Both categories of students who are in Pakistan or legally staying in Saudi Arabia can apply for the scholarships through the online portal: https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa/
