Two concept models unveiled at CES in Las Vegas showcased the future of Honda EVs. The Saloon, a sedan seating four or five, and the Space-Hub, a spacious van for six or seven, hint at the design and functionality of upcoming models.

Global Launch Starting with North America: The first “Honda 0 Series” models will hit roads by 2026, starting in North America and expanding globally. Details like pricing and number of models are yet to be revealed.

Limited EV Presence: Currently, battery-powered vehicles account for less than 0.5% of Honda’s global sales, mostly in China. This new lineup aims to significantly increase EV adoption and compete with established players like GM and VW.

Production Plans: Canadian officials are in talks with Honda regarding a potential $13.9 billion EV plant in the country. CEO Toshihiro Mibe confirmed the possibility of such a move.

Revamped Logo: Along with the new EV series, Honda also unveiled a refreshed logo featuring a tilted and sleeker design, symbolizing the company’s commitment to innovation and the future of mobility.
