Atlas Honda Announces Price Hike Effective July 1, 2025
Pakistan’s leading motorcycle manufacturer, Atlas Honda, has increased prices across its entire lineup by Rs 2,000 to Rs 6,000. The adjustment comes after the federal government imposed a 1% Carbon Levy on imported motorcycle engines in the 2025–26 budget.
The new prices are effective from July 1, 2025, with the company passing the additional tax burden directly to consumers.

Why Did Prices Increase?
The hike is attributed to:
- 1% Carbon Levy – A new tax on imported motorcycle engines aimed at promoting eco-friendly alternatives.
- Rising Production Costs – Increased import duties and inflation have further impacted manufacturing expenses.
Impact on Consumers
With motorcycles being a primary mode of transport for many Pakistanis, especially low-income earners and delivery workers, this price hike may:
- Reduce affordability amid already high inflation.
- Slow down sales in an already strained market.
Atlas Honda dominates over 50% of Pakistan’s motorcycle market, making this increase significant for daily commuters.
Should You Buy Now?
Dealers confirm the new prices are in effect, and further adjustments may follow if taxes or import costs rise again. Buyers looking for the best deal should consider purchasing soon to avoid additional hikes.
