In his official statement, the prime minister said the nation was observing the martyrdom anniversary of Pakistan’s great daughter, former prime minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that Benazir Bhutto stood firm in the face of immense political pressure and personal sacrifices.
