African Development Bank (AfDB) Internship Program 2024: Nurturing Africa’s Future Leaders

The African Development Bank (AfDB) has announced the availability of its highly coveted Internship Programme for 2024. This remarkable project provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young, brilliant individuals from Africa and beyond to gain essential experience, develop leadership abilities, and contribute to the continent’s development.

Internship Opportunities: The programme provides internships in a variety of fields, including finance, agriculture, infrastructure, and social development. This diversity guarantees that a wide range of skills and knowledge can be utilised.

Mentorship and Learning: Interns are mentored by experienced AfDB personnel. They also have access to a variety of learning opportunities, courses, and seminars that help them grow personally and professionally.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for an internship:
Must have reached the age of majority in their place of nationality or origin and be no older than thirty (30) years old when the internship programme begins.
Be currently enrolled in a master’s degree programme at a recognised public or private educational institution. Within one (1) year of receiving such a degree, the individual may apply for an internship.

Be nationals of African Development Bank member countries.

Provide a letter from their school confirming their enrolment or a copy of the above-mentioned Degree. Applicants must be fluent in at least one of the two working languages of the banks (English or French).

Be able to use the Bank’s standard software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); knowledge of SAP is desirable.
