BTS formally surpasses its own Guinness World Record for most Spotify streams by a group.
BTS is now holding the Guinness World Record for being the group with the most Spotify streams.
The most streamed band on Spotify is the hugely popular K-pop group BTS, who broke their own Guinness World Record in the process. On March 10th, they declared that two of the group’s current records had been upgraded.
On March 3, 2023, BTS amassed an astounding 31.96 billion Spotify streams, surpassing their previous record from April 2021, when they formally passed Coldplay to become “the most streamed group on Spotify,” according to Guinness World Records.
BTS also expanded their own Guinness World Records from the previous year for “the most Instagram followers for a music group,” “the most Twitter followers for a music group,” and “the most TikTok followers for a music group” earlier this year.
BTS recently won another trophy at the 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards, bringing their total number of victories to seven.
