Doctors at the General Hospital in Hurghada, Egypt, have performed a rare and urgent operation to remove a mobile phone from a man’s stomach. The patient was brought to the facility suffering from severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, and extreme weakness.
A medical scan revealed the presence of a dense object inside the stomach, later confirmed to be a small mobile phone.

According to the Red Sea Health Directorate, the operation was carried out immediately by a team of specialized surgeons. Hospital director Dr. Karim El-Shabrawy stated that the procedure was completed without complications, and the patient regained consciousness in stable condition.
