First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari inaugurates SZABIST ZABed’s 5th Leadership Conference on AI-Driven Education

SZABIST ZABed, the educational division of SZABIST, recently hosted its 5th Leadership Conference under the theme “Students and the AI-Powered Future.” The event commenced on February 20, 2025, in Karachi and is set to continue in Larkana from February 24 to 26, 2025.

The Karachi session was notably graced by the presence of First Lady and Member of the National Assembly, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, as the Chief Guest. Her attendance underscored the conference’s significance in addressing the integration of artificial intelligence into Pakistan’s educational framework. Accompanying her was PPP Women Wing President Faryal Talpur, along with a host of distinguished academics, industry experts, and government officials from the education sector.

Executive Director of SZABIST ZABed, Lubna Khalid, delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing the institution’s dedication to equipping students with future-ready skills and fostering a culture of research and digital transformation. The conference featured a series of discussions led by prominent speakers who delved into topics such as STEM education, ethical considerations in AI, and the development of AI-driven assessment tools—areas pivotal to the evolution of education in Pakistan.

Following the success of the Karachi session, the conference will proceed to Larkana, focusing on the broader implications of AI in education and personal development. Key themes for the Larkana sessions include “AI Value and Its Pathway to the Future,” “Coping with Stress and Anxiety in an AI-Driven World,” and “Learning from Failure: Building Resilience in the Digital Age.”
