Gold prices decrease in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a consecutive decline for the second day this week, as reported by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) on Tuesday.

According to the data, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs. 200 per tola, reaching Rs. 220,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs. 171, closing at Rs. 189,043.

After a prolonged period of continuous increases, the price of gold stumbled in June. From its peak of Rs. 240,000 per tola, it has dropped by nearly Rs. 20,000 per tola. Within the current month alone, the price of gold has fallen by Rs. 13,900 per tola.

In the international market, spot gold saw a slight increase of 0.2 percent, reaching $1,953.99 per ounce by 12:25 GMT. However, US gold futures experienced a decline of 0.3 percent, reaching $1,966.00.
