India Invites Pakistani Football Team to Participate in SAFF Championship

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially extended an offer to the Pakistani Football Team to visit their country for the upcoming South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Cup. The invitation came after the Indian government allowed the AIFF to host the Pakistani Football team for the matches.

The football federations from both the countries have confirmed the news and now the officials are busy in completing the paperwork.

Pakistani team will play against India in their first match in Group A having Kuwait, Nepal and India.

Shaji Prabhakaran, General Secretary AIFF, has ensured a safe environment for the Pakistani team for the SAFF Championship.
