Late Pakistani Chef Fatima Ali Honored with James Beard Award

Pakistani-American Chef Fatima Ali who died in 2019 after fighting bravely against cancer has been recently honored with the James Beard Award. This is the second time Ali was conferred with this prestigious award.

Fatima Ali, the daughter of an ex former attorney general for Pakistan rose to the heights of fame for her participating in reality cooking shows like Top Chef and Chopped.

Fatima Ali was writing a book named “Savor, A Chef’s Hunger for More,” which unfortunately was published after her death. The book received an overwhelming response. Recent, in a star-studded ceremony in Chicago, Fatima Ali was honored with her second James Beard Award.
