Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) issued a statement on Friday announcing that due to the sharp decline in the Pakistani Rupee, they will no longer be accepting any new reservations for KIA vehicles.
The statement noted that the corporation values treating consumers fairly and openly, but the situation with the Rupee has made it impossible for them to continue taking bookings until the currency stabilizes.
On January 27, 2023, the Rupee took a 14% hit against the US dollar, falling 31.71 points in just two days.
The news release also sought to reassure consumers that they will continue to honor all existing reservations and will resume taking new bookings as soon as the Rupee value becomes stable.
The company encouraged customers to stay informed of the situation and thanked them for their patience and understanding during this difficult time.
