Shehroze Kashif has made Pakistan proud by summiting 12 peaks above 8,000 meters at a very young age. The young Pakistani achieved this historic success after conquering Mount Dhaulagiri in Nepal (also known as the seventh-highest peak in the world).
Secretary of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, Karrar Haidri, said on this occasion, “Shehroze’s unwavering determination, coupled with his courage and passion for mountaineering, has enabled him to achieve this incredible feat”.
Shehroze already holds two Guinness World Records for climbing K2 and Broad Peak at a tender age. He started his journey of conquering mountain peaks at the age of 11 when he summited Mansehra’s Makra Peak (3,885 m).
