NADRA Introduces Convenient Vehicle Registration Service for Citizens

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new service that allows citizens to register their vehicles from the comfort of their own homes. This service aims to provide convenience and eliminates the need for citizens to visit the excise office. The process is simple and efficient, citizens can book an appointment by calling the NADRA call center, and a NADRA agent will visit the applicant’s home within two to three days to complete the registration process. The service is currently only available in Islamabad and costs an additional Rs 995 on top of tokens and taxes.

NADRA, one of the largest government institutions, is constantly working to improve its services and modernize its systems. The organization’s Chairman, Nadir Malik, stated that NADRA is working to enhance the state’s capacity to deliver digital goods and move towards electronic financial transactions for transparency and accountability. The introduction of the vehicle registration service at home is just one example of NADRA’s commitment to providing convenience and improved services to its citizens.

NADRA has previously introduced several other digital services to improve the citizens’ experience. One such example is the use of artificial intelligence-based solutions for verifying fingerprints for senior citizens. This service has made it much easier for senior citizens to verify their identity and access government services. Additionally, NADRA has also introduced the Rahbar mobile app to facilitate citizens in availing their services. The app has a user-friendly interface and enables citizens to access services such as CNIC verification, token issuance, and appointment booking.

Moreover, NADRA has also introduced a Digital Payment System to replace ATMs. This service allows citizens to make payments for their transactions using their mobile phones, thereby eliminating the need to visit an ATM or a bank branch. This service has been well-received by citizens and has led to an increase in the number of people using digital payments.

Overall, NADRA is making efforts to improve the citizens’ experience by facilitating them in every possible way. From providing AI-based solutions to introducing mobile apps and digital payment systems, NADRA is constantly looking for ways to make the process of availing their services more convenient and efficient for the citizens. The introduction of the vehicle registration service at home is a testament to NADRA’s commitment towards providing citizens with the best possible experience when it comes to accessing government services.
