A deadly explosion rocked a passenger train in Pakistan’s Punjab province on February 16, leaving one person dead and three injured. The incident occurred on the Jaffar Express while it was traveling from Quetta to Rawalpindi.

The exact nature of the blast is yet to be determined, and a team from the counter-terrorism department has arrived on the scene to collect evidence. Train service on the route has been suspended, and police investigations are underway.

This is the second time in a month that the Jaffar Express has been targeted, with at least eight people injured in a similar incident in January.
