What is the literacy rate of Pakistan?

According to the Pakistan Economic Survey 2022/23 presented in the Senate, the overall literacy rate of 10 years and above in Pakistan is around 62.8%. This number constitutes gradual progress as compared to previous years, showing that educational access and its quality are being made better.

At the top of the list, Punjab has a literacy rate of 66.3%, which does depict significant progress in the chosen educational infrastructure and initiatives. On the other hand, Baluchistan holds the lowest literacy rate of only 54.5%, thus compelling the need for special interventions in an effort to bridge educational gaps. Respectively, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP post a literacy rate of 61.8% and 55.1%, which indicates quite evidently a regional mixed trend.

There exists a wide-scale gender disparity regarding the literacy chart of Pakistan. The overall literacy rate of women is as low as 51.9 percent compared with 73.4 percent for men. This gap becomes more marked in some provinces, such as Balochistan, where the female literacy rate comes down to just 36.8 percent as compared to 69.5 percent for men.

The corresponding rates for KP are 37.4 percent for females and 72.8 percent for males. In Punjab, however, they are much closer, with females recording 58.4 percent and males 74.2 percent. The trend in Sindh is the same: female literacy stands at 49.7 percent, while the male literacy rate rests at 72.9%.

Much work is being done to support the increase in literacy rates, particularly on the part of the government: more enrolment in schools, better training for teachers, and adult literacy programs. The National Commission for Human Development has also played a crucial role by setting up many adult literacy centers and giving education to all neglected segments of society .

Despite such efforts, poverty, lack of infrastructure, and socio-cultural concerns act as hurdles in the way. Tackling such issues is likely to make any gains in literacy rates more uniform and conducive to long-term success throughout Pakistan.

You can find more detailed information and the latest updates on the literacy rate in Pakistan through the Pakistan Economic Survey and reports from the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.

Government considers income tax relief for salaried class

The government is considering income tax relief for salaried citizens, which may amount to a substantial quantity of relief. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the economic team to reconsider the present income tax rate on monthly income up to Rs 100,000. Under the newly presented budget, a 2.5% income tax rate was levied on these salaries.

This 2.5 percent tax rate is proposed to be totally or partially abolished with a view to providing relief to the salaried class. This measure of relief would cost an estimated Rs 40 billion, which the government intends to compensate by reducing the PSDP.

The proposal will also be discussed with the IMF as part of the government’s efforts to provide relief to the salaried class. Sources said that the initiative was still under consideration and would be taken up for further discussion before a final decision is made.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed by a hidden bomb smuggled months ago into Tehran guesthouse: Reports

In a drastic turn of events as report by The New York Times, cited that a bomb was already smuggled into the guesthouse of martyred Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. In its detailed account of the incident, the NYT cited seven different officials including two Iranians and one American. The guesthouse is managed and guarded by the IRGC and used for retreats, secret meetings, and housing guests like Haniyeh.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh assassination: Smuggled bomb was hidden in guesthouse for two months

The bomb exploded at around 2 am local time, blowing out windows and partially demolishing an outside wall, but the rest of the building suffered limited damage leading investigators to rule out a missile strike. The bomb had been hidden in the guesthouse two months prior to the explosion and was detonated by remote after Haniyeh had retired to his room. The bodyguard of Haniyeh also died in the blast.

The guesthouse is part of a large compound known as Neshat, in an upscale neighborhood in northern Tehran. Two Iranian officials, who were briefed on the incident by members of the Revolutionary Guards, confirmed the scale of the damage. A photograph of the building shared with the NYT showed the impact of the explosion.

Haniyeh had led the Hamas political office in Qatar and, during his visits to Tehran, was a frequent guest in the guesthouse. It was just one in a spate of incidents fanning tensions in a region on tenterhooks. Hamas, Iran and others pointed to Israel’s involvement – which it has not directly commented on.

The NYT report also cited five Middle Eastern officials who gave details of the hidden bomb, underlining again just how elaborate and premeditated this attack was. This attack happened at the time of the Gaza war, amid regional conflicts already ratcheted up with Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.

Funeral prayers for Ismail Haniyeh were also held in Qatar at the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque. Haniyeh had resided in Doha with other members of the Hamas political office and is to be buried in a cemetery in Lusail, north of the Qatari capital.

Haniyeh and a bodyguard were killed in a pre-dawn attack on their accommodation in Tehran early Wednesday. The attack was carried out by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards while Haniyeh was in Iran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Masoud Pezeshkian. Israel has not commented directly on the attack, which it has been accused of by Hamas, Iran, and others.

The incident has inflamed regional tensions further already heightened by the Gaza war, which also drew in Iran-backed militant groups from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. Hours before Haniyeh’s assassination, Israel had struck a southern suburb of Beirut, killing Fuad Shukr, the military commander of Hezbollah.

Furthermore, Thursday saw a public funeral ceremony for Haniyeh held in Tehran, where crowds of thousands turned out to mourn the murdered opposition leader. Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, led prayers, warning of harsh punishment over the killing of Haniyeh.

Embracing Chaos 2024: Signs You’re Thriving Without a Fixed Routine

In today’s fast-paced world, routines and structures often serve as the backbone of productivity and stability. However, a significant number of people thrive without adhering to a fixed schedule. You can often spot these individuals through their behaviors, which subtly reveal their free-spirited nature and unstructured lifestyle. Here are eight behaviors commonly exhibited by people who choose to live without routine or structure. Get ready to discover if you’re one of those non-conformists who thrive in chaos and spontaneity.

Spontaneity in Decision Making

People who live without a structured routine are often spontaneous decision-makers. The beauty of their lifestyle is that it allows for last-minute changes, sudden plans, and impulsive actions. This could be anything from deciding to take a road trip on a whim to changing dinner plans at the drop of a hat. This spontaneous behavior is often overlooked or misunderstood by those who thrive on routine and order. But for the free spirits, it’s just another day in the life. Their decisions are driven by the present moment, not by a predetermined schedule or plan. Interestingly, they often don’t realize how pronounced this trait is until it’s pointed out to them.

Time Seems to Fly By

For people living without a fixed routine, time has a unique way of slipping away. They might start their day with a vague idea of what they want to achieve, but without a strict schedule, hours can disappear in the blink of an eye. This fluid sense of time can lead to a perception that they are always busy, yet their activities are often driven by immediate interests and passions rather than a structured plan.

Thriving in Clutter

Contrary to popular belief, a cluttered workspace or living space doesn’t necessarily denote disorganization. In fact, Albert Einstein once said, “If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?” People who live without a routine or structure often have a unique relationship with clutter. They may appear disorganized to the structured eye, but there’s often a method to their madness. They can find that elusive document in a pile of papers or that one utensil in an overflowing kitchen drawer. Their surroundings may seem chaotic, but they know exactly where everything is. This seemingly disorganized behavior is just another manifestation of their non-routine lifestyle. It’s not for everyone, but for those who live it, it works.

Flexibility is Their Forte

Living without a routine or structure often leads to an impressive level of flexibility. Those who embrace this lifestyle are usually adept at adjusting to unexpected changes or situations. Whether it’s a last-minute meeting, a sudden change in plans, or an unforeseen hiccup in their day, they handle it with ease. They don’t have a rigid schedule to stick to, so they can adapt and adjust as needed. This flexibility often extends to their mindset as well. They’re open to new ideas, willing to try different approaches, and generally less resistant to change. This trait is a significant part of their personality, but like the other behaviors we’ve discussed, they often don’t even realize they’re exhibiting it.

Following Their Instincts

People without a fixed routine often rely heavily on their instincts. They make decisions based on gut feelings rather than detailed plans. This instinctual approach allows them to be more adaptable and responsive to changes in their environment. They trust their intuition to guide them through their day, which can lead to unexpected opportunities and creative solutions to problems.

Finding Joy in Small Moments

Without the constraints of a strict routine, these individuals often find joy in small, everyday moments. Whether it’s enjoying a leisurely morning coffee or taking a spontaneous walk in the park, they appreciate the freedom to savor life’s simple pleasures. This ability to find happiness in the present moment contributes to their overall sense of well-being and contentment.

Embracing Unpredictability

For those who thrive without a routine, unpredictability is not a source of stress but a welcome challenge. They enjoy the thrill of not knowing exactly what the day will bring and are excited by the potential for new experiences and adventures. This embrace of the unknown keeps their lives dynamic and engaging, preventing the monotony that can come with a rigid schedule.

Creating Their Own Structure

While they may not follow a conventional routine, many non-conformists create their own unique structure. This might involve setting broad goals for the week or maintaining a flexible to-do list. They find ways to stay productive and achieve their objectives without feeling confined by a strict timetable. This personalized approach to organization allows them to balance spontaneity with productivity.

5 tips to get oil-free skin this summer

Are you looking for oil-free skin this summer? Look no further than this article to find perfect tips to enhance your appearance in this scorching heat. Well, to so many of us, the battle against oily skin begins to pick up when summer is already upon us. It is easy for a sudden rise in temperature and humidity to set our natural skin oils overproducing, which means an overall shiny complexion, clogged pores, and increased acne breakouts.

Keeping oily skin at bay in the peak summer months can be most daunting, but rest assured—the right skincare routine and lifestyle adjustments will have you fresh and matte all season long.

Whether you have ongoing oily skin or just a summer shine, these five tips will help you keep your skin clear and oil-free. Adding these steps into your daily routine can make quite a difference in keeping your skin healthy and looking its best during summer—confident and glowing.

Tips for oil-free skin this summer

Here are 5 science-backed tips for oil-free skin this summer. Read till the end to find out:

Cleanse Your Face Twice Daily

Image via Pexels

Cleansing is the root of any good skincare routine, after all. In summer, one needs to wash the face twice a day since excess oil and sweat, along with a lot of impurities, get accumulated on the skin.

Gentle, oil-free cleansers with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide keep oil production under control and avoid acne. Steer clear of soaps or harsh cleansers as they may contain high amounts of alcohol, which often strips natural oils off the skin, resulting in more oil production.

    Lightweight, Oil-Free moisturisers

For oil-free skin this summer, even oily skin has to be hydrated. By not applying moisturiser, your skin will try and compensate for the dryness by producing more oil. Apply a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser that won’t block pores—check the ingredients list for ‘non-comedogenic’.

Ingredients like hyaluronic acid and glycerin can deliver moisture sans extra grease. Apply the moisturiser after cleansing to seal in moisture and help support a healthy skin barrier.

      Add a Mattifying Sunscreen

Sunscreen is essential all the time but more during summer. Use a broad-spectrum, oil-free sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect against UV damage without adding extra grease.

Look for sunscreens that are labeled “mattifying” or “oil-free” to keep one matte. Gel-based sunscreens work very well on oily skin since they absorb well and not remain very greasy.

        Blotting Papers and Powder

Even with the best care, your skin can still be producing oil throughout the day. Keep blotting papers at hand to quickly and easily soak up this extra oil without smudging your makeup. Blotting papers are an easy step to take several times during the day to help ensure a shine-free look.

Another trick to control oil is using translucent setting powder. Apply this lightly over your foundation to set a natural, matte finish. It is considered one of the top-rated and must try tips for oil-free skin this summer.

          Improve Your Diet

          Image via Pexels

What you eat can be even more crucial in the production of oil in the skin. For oily skin, fill up on fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains in as much amount as possible. Avoid greasy and fried foods.

Try also to limit the intake of sugar and dairy products because it activates the overproduction of oils in the skin and causes breakouts. Drink plenty of water because it keeps one well-hydrated, flushes out the toxins, and helps keep the skin refreshed and healthy.

            Conclusion

Want oil-free skin this summer? Well, that is no miracle. Follow these five tips to keep oily skin in check and ensure a fine, matte complexion throughout the summer. Remember, patience and the right products for your skin do make a world of difference. Have summertime fun, knowing that your skin is healthy and free from excessive oiliness.

Ghee vs Butter: A Comparison of Their Health Benefits and Culinary Uses: Tips 2024

Ghee and butter are everyday ingredients that hold a special place in kitchens worldwide. Each offers unique benefits and caters to different culinary needs. While ghee is prized for its high smoke point and lactose-free properties, butter is celebrated for its rich flavor and creamy texture. Both ghee and butter provide essential vitamins, but their distinct characteristics make them suitable for various applications and health considerations. Here’s a detailed comparison of ghee and butter, highlighting their differences, benefits, and impacts on health.

            What is Ghee?

Ghee, a form of clarified butter, has its roots in Pakistani cuisine and has been widely used in South Asian cooking for centuries. The process of making ghee involves simmering butter to separate the milk solids and water from the fat. This results in a golden, nutty-flavored liquid that is highly versatile in the kitchen.

            What is Butter?

Butter is a dairy product made by churning cream until the butterfat separates from the buttermilk. This process yields a solid, creamy product that is rich in flavor and used extensively in baking, cooking, and as a spread.

            Nutritional Benefits of Ghee

            1. Lactose-Free: One of the most significant advantages of ghee is that it is lactose-free. This makes it suitable for individuals with lactose intolerance or sensitivity.
            2. High Smoke Point: Ghee has a high smoke point (around 485°F or 252°C), which means it can be used for high-heat cooking without breaking down and releasing harmful free radicals.
            3. Rich in Vitamins: Ghee is packed with fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. These vitamins are essential for various bodily functions, including immune support, vision, bone health, and antioxidant protection.
            4. Medium-Chain Fatty Acids (MCFAs): Ghee contains medium-chain fatty acids, which are quickly absorbed and metabolized by the body, providing a quick source of energy.

            Nutritional Benefits of Butter

            1. Rich Flavor: Butter provides a rich, creamy flavor that is hard to replicate with other fats. It enhances the taste of baked goods, sauces, and spreads.
            2. Vitamins and Minerals: Butter is a good source of fat-soluble vitamins, particularly vitamin A. It also contains small amounts of vitamins D, E, and K.
            3. Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA): Butter from grass-fed cows contains higher levels of CLA, a fatty acid that has been linked to various health benefits, including reduced inflammation and improved body composition.
            4. Butyrate: Butter contains butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid that has been shown to support gut health and reduce inflammation.

            Culinary Uses of Ghee

Ghee’s high smoke point makes it ideal for frying, sautéing, and roasting. Its nutty flavor enhances the taste of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes, and it can be used to make aromatic rice dishes, curries, and desserts. Ghee is also popular in Ayurvedic cooking and is believed to have medicinal properties.

            Culinary Uses of Butter

Butter’s creamy texture and rich flavor make it a staple in baking, where it helps create tender, flaky pastries and cookies. It is also used in making sauces, such as hollandaise and beurre blanc, and as a spread on bread and pancakes. Butter is essential in French cuisine and many other Western culinary traditions.

            Health Considerations

While both ghee and butter have their health benefits, they should be consumed in moderation due to their high saturated fat content. Excessive intake of saturated fats can lead to increased cholesterol levels and a higher risk of heart disease. However, when used wisely, both fats can be part of a balanced diet.

            Choosing Between Ghee and Butter

The choice between ghee and butter often comes down to dietary preferences and culinary needs. If you are lactose intolerant or need a fat that can withstand high-heat cooking, ghee is an excellent option. On the other hand, if you are looking for a rich, creamy flavor for baking and spreading, butter is the way to go.

In a significant move aimed at empowering the youth of Punjab, the Punjab Government has called off its 12th Cabinet Mission under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. This pivotal meeting addressed various crucial issues and set the stage for several groundbreaking initiatives, primarily focused on creating more opportunities for the youth to ensure a successful future.

One of the key highlights of the meeting was the announcement of an extensive internship program for university graduates across the province. This initiative, designed to provide invaluable work experience, will allow students to intern with various public sector departments. Each intern will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000, making it a financially viable option for many young individuals.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of this program, stating that it aims to equip early graduates with practical skills and experiences essential for starting or managing their businesses. The program’s details, including the application process and eligibility criteria, will be disclosed in the upcoming days, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all interested candidates.

The new internship scheme is part of a broader effort to involve provincial departments in the active development of youth. Maryam Nawaz has issued a clear directive that all provincial departments must integrate this internship program into their operations, ensuring widespread opportunities for young professionals.

In addition to the general internship program, the Chief Minister announced the launch of the Climate Leadership Development Internship Program. This initiative, also offering paid internships, aims to foster environmental leadership and innovation among the youth. All government departments are instructed to begin offering these internships, underlining the government’s commitment to tackling climate issues through the engagement and empowerment of young minds.

Another major announcement from the session was the expansion of the Punjab Bike Scheme. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz declared that an additional 10,000 bikes would be distributed to eligible students who had applied for the program. This initiative is designed to provide students with reliable transportation, thereby facilitating their educational and professional pursuits.

The Cabinet has decided that the Punjab government will cover the entire cost of the e-bike program, excluding the insurance costs. This includes expenses related to license plates, documentation, registration, and other associated costs. This decision alleviates the financial burden on students, making the program more accessible and beneficial.

These initiatives reflect the Punjab government’s strong commitment to youth development and innovation. Under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz, the government is making concerted efforts to create more opportunities for students and young professionals, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the future. The introduction of the internship program, offering a Rs 25,000 monthly stipend, alongside the Climate Leadership Development Internship and the expansion of the Punjab Bike Scheme, highlights a multifaceted approach to youth empowerment.

The focus on practical experience, environmental leadership, and mobility solutions underscores the government’s holistic strategy to address the diverse needs of the youth. By investing in these areas, the Punjab government is not only enhancing the employability of young graduates but also fostering a generation of innovative and environmentally conscious leaders.

These strategic initiatives by the Punjab government, spearheaded by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, are set to make a significant impact on the province’s youth. With these programs, the government aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that the youth of Punjab are well-equipped to contribute to the province’s development and growth.

The smuggling attempt was thwarted due to the meticulous work of the security team at Alama Iqbal International Airport. Such incidents highlight the importance of routine security checks and the role they play in preventing illegal activities.

            The Consequences

The immediate consequence for the flight attendant was suspension from her duties and detention. The authorities have not yet disclosed whether any additional charges will be filed or if further investigations will be conducted. This incident serves as a stern warning to others who might consider similar activities, emphasizing that smuggling and illegal activities will not be tolerated and will be met with severe consequences.

            The Broader Implications

This arrest brings to light the broader issue of smuggling and the various methods individuals use to transport illegal items across borders. Concealing money in socks is just one of many tactics smugglers employ. Airport security must remain vigilant and adapt to new smuggling techniques to prevent such activities.

The involvement of a flight attendant in smuggling also raises questions about the screening and monitoring of airline staff. Airlines and airport authorities may need to review their procedures and implement stricter measures to ensure that all personnel adhere to the highest standards of conduct.

            Strengthening Security Measures

The arrest at Alama Iqbal International Airport is a testament to the effectiveness of routine security checks. However, it also serves as a reminder that there is always room for improvement. Airports worldwide continually update their security protocols to keep pace with evolving smuggling techniques.

The Role of Training and Awareness

One way to enhance security is through regular training and awareness programs for all airport and airline staff. Educating employees about the consequences of smuggling and encouraging them to report suspicious activities can create a more secure environment. Additionally, routine checks and random screenings can act as a deterrent for those considering illegal activities.

            Community and International Cooperation

Smuggling is a global issue that requires cooperation beyond national borders. Sharing information and best practices with international security agencies can help build a more robust defense against smuggling. Collaborative efforts can lead to the development of more effective detection methods and the identification of smuggling networks.

Australia’s Opals Stunned by Nigeria in Shocking Olympic Upset: 2024

The Opals, Australia’s women’s basketball team, suffered a devastating loss in their first game at the Olympics, leaving their medal hopes hanging by a thread. The highly-ranked Australians, who entered the tournament with high expectations, were defeated by Nigeria in a 75-62 upset. This surprising turn of events has sent shockwaves through the basketball community and left fans and analysts questioning what went wrong for the Opals.

            A Shocking Defeat

Australia, ranked No. 3 in the world, faced Nigeria, the African champions, in what was expected to be a competitive but ultimately manageable game. However, the reality on the court was far different. The Opals struggled from the outset, plagued by turnovers and missed opportunities. They turned the ball over 26 times and made only eight of their 18 free throw attempts, a performance well below their usual standards.

            Critical Errors and Missed Opportunities

Sandy Brondello, the Opals’ head coach, expressed disappointment in her team’s performance. The turnover rate was particularly alarming, as each lost possession represented a missed chance to score. Free throws, often considered the easiest points in basketball, were another area where the Opals faltered. The team’s poor shooting from the free throw line contributed significantly to their downfall.

            Nigeria’s Strong Performance

While Australia’s mistakes were a major factor in the loss, credit must be given to Nigeria for their exceptional play. The Nigerian team capitalized on every opportunity, displaying a high level of skill and determination. Their defense was particularly effective, pressuring the Opals into making mistakes and converting those errors into points. Nigeria’s victory is a testament to their growth and competitiveness on the international stage.

            Implications for Australia’s Medal Hopes

This loss places Australia’s medal campaign in a precarious position. The Opals will need to regroup quickly and perform flawlessly in their remaining games to have any chance of advancing to the medal rounds. The pressure is now on the team to demonstrate resilience and bounce back from this unexpected setback.

            Moving Forward

Despite the disappointment, there is still hope for the Opals. The team has a history of strong performances and has shown the ability to overcome adversity in the past. To recover from this defeat, the Opals will need to focus on improving their ball handling, free throw shooting, and overall execution. The coaching staff will undoubtedly be working on strategies to address these issues before their next game.

            Fan and Analyst Reactions

The reaction from fans and analysts has been one of shock and disbelief. Many had high expectations for the Opals, considering their high ranking and past successes. This loss has sparked discussions about what changes need to be made and how the team can improve moving forward. Social media has been abuzz with both criticism and support, reflecting the passionate following that Australian women’s basketball enjoys.

            The Road Ahead

The Opals’ next games will be critical in determining their fate in the Olympics. Each game is now a must-win scenario, adding immense pressure on the players and coaching staff. The team’s ability to handle this pressure and perform at their best will be crucial. Fans will be watching closely, hoping for a turnaround that keeps Australia’s medal dreams alive.

High-level thinkers are often distinguished by their ability to process information deeply, think critically, and solve complex problems. According to psychology, several habits signify that someone is a high-level thinker. Developing these habits can enhance your cognitive abilities and set you apart in both professional and personal spheres.

            Embracing Curiosity and Lifelong Learning

High-level thinkers have an insatiable curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning. They are always seeking new information, exploring new ideas, and asking questions. By continuously learning, high-level thinkers keep their minds sharp and adaptable.

Engaging in Deep and Reflective Thinking

Reflective thinking is a critical component of high-level cognition. It involves analyzing one’s own thoughts, beliefs, and experiences to gain deeper insights. High-level thinkers regularly engage in reflective practices, such as journaling or meditation, which allow them to process their experiences and make informed decisions. This habit of self-reflection is linked to greater self-awareness and improved problem-solving skills.

            Practicing Critical Thinking and Analysis

Critical thinking is the ability to evaluate information objectively and make reasoned judgments. High-level thinkers excel in this area, applying logical reasoning and analytical skills to dissect complex problems. They avoid jumping to conclusions and instead gather evidence, weigh alternatives, and consider the long-term implications of their decisions. This habit is essential for making sound, rational decisions in both personal and professional contexts.

            Maintaining Open-Mindedness

Open-mindedness is a hallmark of high-level thinkers. They are willing to consider new ideas and perspectives, even if they challenge their existing beliefs. This psychological trait allows them to adapt to new situations and find innovative solutions to problems. High-level thinkers understand that clinging to rigid viewpoints can limit their growth and hinder their ability to think creatively.

            Cultivating Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to understand and manage one’s own emotions, as well as the emotions of others. High-level thinkers possess high EI, which enables them to navigate social interactions effectively and build strong relationships. They are adept at recognizing their own emotional triggers and responding to them in a constructive manner. This habit contributes to their overall mental resilience and interpersonal effectiveness.

            Seeking Diverse Perspectives

High-level thinkers actively seek out diverse perspectives to broaden their understanding of complex issues. They recognize that exposure to different viewpoints can enhance their critical thinking skills and lead to more well-rounded conclusions. This habit of seeking diversity in thought is supported by psychological research, which shows that exposure to diverse ideas fosters creativity and innovation.

            Practicing Mindfulness

Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment without judgment. High-level thinkers often practice mindfulness to improve their focus and mental clarity. This habit helps them stay grounded, manage stress, and approach problems with a calm and centered mindset. Psychological studies have shown that mindfulness can enhance cognitive flexibility and improve decision-making processes.

            Prioritizing Mental and Physical Health

High-level thinkers understand the importance of maintaining both mental and physical health. They engage in regular exercise, maintain a balanced diet, and prioritize adequate sleep. These habits are crucial for sustaining cognitive function and overall well-being. Psychological research indicates that physical health is closely linked to mental performance, underscoring the importance of a holistic approach to health.

            Developing Resilience and Adaptability

Resilience and adaptability are key traits of high-level thinkers. They view challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning. This psychological resilience allows them to persevere in the face of adversity and adapt to changing circumstances. By developing these habits, high-level thinkers maintain a positive outlook and continue to thrive even in difficult situations.

            Building Strong Social Connections

High-level thinkers value and invest in their social connections. They build supportive networks of friends, family, and colleagues who provide emotional support and diverse perspectives. This habit is grounded in the psychological understanding that strong social connections are vital for mental health and cognitive function. Ranging from tailoring to agricultural labor, these key jobs in the economy are ironically incapable of sustaining a decent standard of living with the remunerative package. 5 Lowest-paying Jobs in Pakistan That Require Intense Hard Work

            Tailors and Dressmakers

Tailors and dressmakers, although very adept and skillful at their work, get very little money. The average tailor works for a minimum wage of PKR 10,000 to 15,000 a month. This immensity of competition and the easily available ready-made garments at cheaper rates are actually the main reasons. This job has extra work in good amounts; it is tiresome with huge concentration required, and financial stability and improvement are not promised.

Although tailors can make hefty amount during festivals, this job can take a toll on their health with intense hard-work required. While tailors at build-up shops can make a lot, those at local markets struggle while earning their bread and butter.

              Domestic Workers

Domestic servants, including maids, cooks, and house cleaners, usually earn very low wages. A domestic worker earns an average of PKR 8,000 to 12,000 per month in Pakistan. These workers also slog for long hours without job security, benefits, and other basic facilities that are supposed to be provided according to the labor laws of the country.

Long hours of physically strenuous work and hardly rewarding—this alone explains why this is the most hated job in the country. Visibly, it also requires intense and continuous labour without short breaks.

                Security Guards

Their salaries normally range from PKR 12,000 to 18,000 per month in Pakistan. Despite the critical nature of their work related to safety and security, their pay is very low. Most of the security guards are often found to work extra hours in hazardous conditions with no adequate benefits or promotion opportunities.

People usually witness guards outside shops or homes with or without chair and basic facilities like fans in scorching heat. Weather across Pakistan is usually hot hence, it makes guard’s job one of the hardest jobs in the world with lowest-pay.

                  Factory Workers

Factory workers, specifically those within textile and garment factories, are paid very cheaply. Their wages vary from PKR 10,000 to 20,000 per month, depending on the factory and the area or the region. Working in a factory is very labor-intensive and might require extra-long shifts in horrible conditions.

Weak labor laws and unions add to these workers’ misery, probably making this sector one of the cheapest in the country. In factories like garments and companies like labour people usually look for low-cost labour. In the departments such labour works, there is barely any air-conditioners.

                    Agricultural Labourers

Agricultural labourers are the backbone of Pakistan’s agrarian economy, but they happen to be among the most meagerly paid. Their average wage ranges from PKR 300 to 500 per day, translating to an average monthly income of about PKR 9,000 to 15,000.

The job is highly seasonal, physically exhausting, and virtually without any job security or perks. Their further financial instability is heightened by their dependence on weather conditions and market fluctuation. Most of the farmers live in rural areas or small villages of Pakistan.

                      Conclusion

These are the lowest-paying jobs in Pakistan, and there is a dire need for improvement in labour laws and better compensation structures. A job seeker should be aware of these professions and strive for opportunities that will give better financial stability and growth. While these jobs are vital to the functioning of society, they deserve to work at better wages and conditions so they can live with dignity.

This would help people to avoid such lowest paying jobs in Pakistan and build their lives. The keyword “lowest paying jobs in Pakistan” should raise awareness of such issues and bring discussions related to labour rights and fair wages onto the table. If you are seeking any career advice, then it is best to opt for a profession that meets your skills, interests, and ability to create a positive impact on your wallet.
