India is behind 12th Rabiul Awwal attacks in Balochistan, says Interim Interior Minister of Pakistan

Interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has alleged that India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), its foreign intelligence agency, was behind recent terror attacks in Balochistan. Bugti made these claims without providing any evidence during a media briefing in Quetta. He stated that those involved in facilitating such attacks, regardless of their affiliation, were all linked to RAW.

This statement follows a suicide blast in Mastung, Balochistan, targeting a 12th Rabiul Awwal procession, resulting in 55 casualties. No group has claimed responsibility, although the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) denied involvement. A separate bombing occurred in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing five people and injuring 12.

Bugti pledged to pursue terrorists relentlessly and emphasized that appeasement policies would no longer be tolerated. He expressed frustration with the state’s history of switching to appeasement policies after gaining strength against terrorists. Bugti also mentioned the recent investigation into attacks, which may have involved different organizations claiming responsibility.

While condemning the recent violence, he promised to take action against those responsible and address the issue of suspending district commissioners and superintendents of police. You might think that a cycle with square wheels would be impossible to ride, but one inventive YouTuber has proved otherwise. In a video that has gone viral, the channel The Q shows how they built a custom bicycle with square tires that roll as smoothly as a bike with round ones. The secret is in the design of the wheels and the road.

How Does It Work?

The square wheels themselves don’t actually spin at all, but their rubber tires have been sliced up and paired with four sets of bike chains to create a continuous tread that rolls around the outside of each wheel. It’s essentially a pedal-powered tank, with the bottom edge of each wheel quietly gliding along the pavement as it’s ridden.

The design is inspired by military tanks, which use treads to move over rough terrain. However, unlike tanks, the bicycle has no suspension system or shock absorbers, so it might not be very comfortable to ride on bumpy roads.

Is It the First of Its Kind?

This is not the first time that someone has experimented with square wheels on a bicycle. Nepal’s Historic Feat in Asian Games 2023: Breaking Multiple T20I Records

Nepal’s men’s cricket team made history at the ongoing Asian Games cricket tournament in Hangzhou, China as they smashed the highest-ever total in T20I cricket history, the fastest fifty and fastest century by a player in format’s history on Wednesday. Nepal batted first against Mongolia, who opted to field, and posted a mammoth 314 for 3 in 20 overs. This was the first time that any team had crossed the 300-run mark in a T20I match. The previous record for the highest innings total in a T20I was held by Afghanistan, who had amassed 278 for 3 against Ireland on February 23, 2019.

The star of the show for Nepal was Kushal Malla, a 19-year-old left-handed batter, who struck the fastest-ever T20I hundred in 34 balls, eclipsing David Miller and Rohit Sharma’s joint previous record (35 balls). Malla came in at No. 3 and unleashed a barrage of boundaries, hitting 12 sixes and eight fours to remain unbeaten on 137 off just 50 balls. His strike rate of 274 was also the highest for any batsman scoring a hundred or more in a T20I.

Malla was well supported by Dipendra Singh Airee, who also rewrote the record books by blasting a nine-ball fifty that bettered Yuvraj Singh’s 16-year-old record. Yuvraj had taken 12 balls for his fifty en route to scoring 58 in the World T20 match against England on September 19, 2007. Airee came in at No. 5 and smashed seven sixes and two fours to score an unbeaten 66 off just 15 balls. His strike rate of 440 was also the highest for any batsman scoring a fifty or more in a T20I.

The duo added an unbeaten 131 runs for the fourth wicket in just 5.4 overs, with an astonishing run rate of 23.11. They took the Mongolian bowlers to the cleaners, hitting them all over the park. The only wicket-taker for Mongolia was Ankhbayar Narantsogt, who took three wickets for 47 runs in his four overs.

In reply, Mongolia were never in the chase and were bowled out for just 36 runs in 11 overs, losing by a massive margin of 278 runs. This was also the biggest victory margin (by runs) in a T20I match. The previous record was held by Sri Lanka, who had beaten Kenya by 172 runs in the inaugural World T20 in South Africa on September 14, 2007.

The best bowler for Nepal was Karan KC, who took four wickets for six runs in his three overs. He was well supported by Sandeep Lamichhane, who took three wickets for nine runs in his four overs. The only batsman to reach double figures for Mongolia was Khaliunbold Bayarsaikhan, who scored 12 off nine balls.

With this win, Nepal topped their group with four points from two matches and qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Games cricket championship. Pakistan finally issued visas for World Cup 2023

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially confirmed that the Indian government has granted visas to the Pakistan squad for their upcoming World Cup campaign. This development comes less than 48 hours before the team is scheduled to depart for Hyderabad via Dubai. Despite continuous communication between the PCB and the ICC, the PCB chose to formally address their concerns about the unequal treatment of Pakistan in this visa matter. Pakistan was the sole participating team in the World Cup experiencing such delays in visa issuance. In their communication, the PCB sought clarification from the ICC regarding the steps they intended to take to resolve the issue.

They also questioned whether written confirmations had been provided by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) or the Indian government, affirming the provision of visas to all participating nations. While the BCCI had orally assured the ICC at their annual conference in Durban that visas for the Pakistan contingent would be facilitated on time, written confirmation remained unverified.
