A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) contingent equipped with the state-of-the-art JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jets has landed in Azerbaijan to participate in the bilateral aerial combat exercise Indus Shield Alpha. The contingent includes highly skilled air and ground crew, demonstrating PAF’s commitment to international cooperation and regional security.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the arrival marks another milestone in Pakistan’s growing defence collaboration with Azerbaijan. The exercise aims to strengthen ties between the two nations while enhancing mutual understanding and tactical interoperability.

Non-Stop Flight and In-Flight Refuelling Success

In a remarkable demonstration of endurance and precision, the PAF fighter jets completed a non-stop flight from their home base in Pakistan to Azerbaijan.
