Applications are being accepted by the Pakistan Army to become commissioned officers in its engineering corps. Students enrolled in ICS and FSc pre-engineering programs may apply to the Pakistan Army Technical Cadet program. The Pakistan Army will fully support the education of those who are selected, and they will be awarded admission to NUST colleges. Upon completion of four four-year degrees, candidates will be appointed captains in the Pakistan Army.
Selected candidates will be awarded Regular Commission, and after completing their degree, they will be eligible to join the Pakistan Army as officers and engineers. The commencement date of online registration is December 18, 2023. February 02, 2024, is the deadline for applications to the 36th Technical Cadet course in the Pakistan Army.
Academic / Military Training for Technical Cadet Course 2024
Studies: 4 Years Engineering degree program.
Military Training. After obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering Degree, cadets will undergo one-year military training at PMA Kakul.
The following degree programs will be studied by selected candidates in their respective NUST colleges.
Engineering College for the Military Civil Engineering, Risalpur
Electrical telecommunication engineering and computer software engineering are offered by the Military College of Signals in Rawalpindi.
Electrical, mechanical, computer systems and mechatronic engineering are all offered by the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Rawalpindi.
Aeronautical Engineering, College of Aeronautical Engineering, Risalpur
Qualifications for Pakistan Army Technical Cadet Course 2024: Age range: 17 to 21 years old (upper and lower age limits are flexible for three months).

nationality. Pakistani national. Candidates who hold more than one nationality will be required to give up their non-Pakistani nationality upon final selection.

Applying for “HOPE Certificates” that have been properly granted by the institution’s head is also an option for candidates who completed the FSc Part-I Examination with at least 65% of the possible points and will be taking the FSc Part-II / Final Examination. Nevertheless, these candidates need to send a photocopy of their roll no slip, their FSc Part-II roll number, and the name of the Education Board to GHQ, PA Directorate (PA-3b), Rawalpindi. Candidates will not be taken into consideration for the final merit list if their FSc final result cards or mark sheets are not submitted within one week of the announcement of the FSc Board results.
Only those with an FSc in Computer Sciences may apply for the position of Computer Software Engineer.
