Extensive Training Program for Pilgrims Nationwide
The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) has announced the launch of its mandatory training program for Hajj 2025 pilgrims. Training sessions will commence tomorrow at 147 locations across the country, starting with an inaugural session in Peshawar.
This year’s program integrates technology, with attendance being tracked through QR codes on the Pak Haj mobile app, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
Support for Local and Overseas Pilgrims
Special arrangements have also been made for overseas Pakistanis, who will receive training at designated Haji Camps before their journey to Saudi Arabia. The first phase of training will conclude on the 27th of the next month, covering essential rituals, travel logistics, and app usage.
Hajj Agreement 2025: Key Provisions
As part of the annual Hajj agreement signed earlier this year, 179,210 Pakistanis will perform Hajj in 2025. The agreement was finalized between Pakistan’s Religious Affairs Minister, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.
Highlights of the agreement include:
- Affordable Accommodation: Reduced costs for lodging in Mina.
- Enhanced Facilities: Commitment to provide world-class services to Pakistani pilgrims.
- Dedicated Support: Saudi authorities pledged full cooperation to improve the overall Hajj experience.
Participation in Global Hajj Conference
Minister Salik Hussain will also attend the International Hajj Conference and Expo in Jeddah. This four-day event aims to bring together Hajj stakeholders, discuss innovations, and sign agreements with service providers to streamline the pilgrimage process further.
