The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been under pressure pressure regarding the future of Asia Cup 2023 after the Indian Team has refused to play matches in Pakistan.
The Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled in September, however, considering the current situation in Pakistan, Indian Team has refused to participate if the venue remains same, which may cause loss of billions of rupees to PCB.
In order to find a feasible solution, Najam sethi, Chairman PCB is talking to officials from Bangladesh, India, UAE and Sri Lanka because if any of these teams excuse from participating in the event, the revenue generated via broadcast media will be equal to none. Therefore, the organisers are trying their best to find an alternative venue instead of cancelling it altogether.
