Police surrounded Zaman Park area of Lahore, where Imran Khan lives, in a fresh attempt to arrest the Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf (PTI) leader on Thursday night.
According to sources, police officials in large number were present near the residence of Imran Khan. The entry and exit points to and from the area were also sealed with the help of barricades.
The sources also added that there were three prisoner vans and other police vehicles patrolling around the Zaman Park.
PTI leader’s house was surrounded by party workers and local leaders in order to protect him. The supporters of Khan were chanting slogans in his favor and later on removed the barricades placed by the police.
