Electricity has been restored to Sector 5C-1 in North Karachi following a brief planned outage, according to a statement from K-Electric (KE).
The power disruption occurred as part of a scheduled maintenance routine, a necessary step to strengthen the area’s electrical infrastructure. A KE spokesperson confirmed that the maintenance work has now been successfully completed and normal power supply has resumed.
“The area had experienced a power outage due to a scheduled maintenance shutdown, which has now been successfully completed and restored,” the spokesperson said.
KE emphasized the importance of these planned interruptions, stating they are conducted to ensure long-term grid stability and enhance the quality of service to consumers.
The utility also encouraged residents to stay connected via KE’s official social media channels or customer service helpline for real-time updates and support related to outages or other electricity-related concerns.
This restoration comes as part of KE’s wider efforts to modernize the city’s power infrastructure and reduce the frequency of unplanned breakdowns in high-density areas like North Karachi.
