President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, on an official visit to participate in the World Social Development Conference, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, President Zardari and his accompanying delegation were warmly received by senior Qatari officials and Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar.
During his keynote address at the global forum, President Zardari is expected to highlight Pakistan’s initiatives toward social development, inclusive economic growth, and sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The President will brief international delegates on Pakistan’s vision for the launch of the Doha Alliance, Social Protection and Jobs Compact, and other key projects that align with global development commitments.
In his speech, President Zardari is also likely to emphasize the importance of securing financial resources to drive social and environmental transformation, support the SDG Stimulus Plan, and reinforce other multilateral efforts aimed at addressing poverty, inequality, and climate challenges.
