Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in his message on the 77th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, paid rich tribute to the founder of Pakistan for his unmatched leadership and selfless struggle. He emphasized that the entire nation salutes Jinnah’s political vision and statesmanship, which turned the dream of a separate homeland into reality.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Quaid-e-Azam’s determination and courage enabled the Muslims of the Subcontinent to achieve Pakistan despite immense challenges during partition.

Jinnah’s Vision for Pakistan

The Prime Minister highlighted Jinnah’s lifelong struggle to safeguard the political, religious, economic, and cultural rights of Muslims. He noted that the Father of the Nation gave the world its first Islamic ideological state, rooted in justice, democracy, and equality.

Shehbaz Sharif recalled that even amidst the hardships of migration, limited resources, and administrative difficulties at independence, Jinnah instilled resilience and confidence in the people of Pakistan, laying the foundations for a strong nation.

Guiding Principles for Today’s Pakistan

Reaffirming Quaid’s ideals, the Prime Minister stressed that Jinnah envisioned a Pakistan where all citizens, including minorities, enjoy equal rights and opportunities. He urged the people to follow the guiding principles of faith, unity, and discipline to overcome present-day challenges.

“Making Pakistan a developed nation and a true Islamic welfare state requires collective effort,” he said, emphasizing the responsibility to pass on Quaid’s vision to future generations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz underlined the importance of renewed resolve in building a prosperous Pakistan. He noted that within Quaid’s political legacy lies the secret to the country’s progress and welfare.
