PSL 8: Injured Mir Hamza Replaced by Akif Javed in Karachi Kings

There are some changes in the Karachi Kings Squad after Mir Hamza is replaced by Akif Javed for the next match.

Hamza suffered form a fractured index figure of his bowler arm during the opening match against Peshawar Zalmi on Tuesday at the National Bank Cricket Arena.

The fracture happened while Hamza was trying to stop Babar Azam’s straight drive on the fourth ball of the second over. The ball then ricocheted off his hand onto the non-striker’s stumps

Just two balls prior to this incident, the left-arm fast bowler had dismissed Mohammad Haris.

Akif Javed had previously played for Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United and boasts 33 T20 wickets in 31 matches.
