In a devastating incident, a property dispute led a man and his associates to enter his brother’s house in Pakpattan, resulting in the brutal killing of seven family members during Sehri. The victims included the mother, brothers, sister-in-law, and their children.
The assailants fled the scene of the crime, leaving a seven-year-old girl severely injured. Despite Rescue 1122’s repeated calls, the service failed to respond, and the girl had to be taken to the hospital in a police van.
The incident has prompted a police investigation, and the Inspector General of Punjab has ordered a report submission from RPO Sahiwal and directed DPO Pakpattan to form a special team for the swift arrest of the accused. This tragic incident highlights the need for effective measures to prevent such violent crimes and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
