The social media platform, Twitter Inc has announced that it will remove all accounts that have been inactive for several years.
Elon Musk, CEO Twitter, tweeted on Monday,
Musk also added that users may see a drop in follower count due to removal of inactive accounts.
According to the company policy, users must log in once a month to escape prolonged inactivity and permanent removal from the platform.
Last month Twitter removed Blue Tick from the profiles of various celebrities, politicians and journalists as they did not subscribe for Twitter Blue.
