It seems like the deadlock between both the parties is coming to an end. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan and International Monterey Funds (IMF) will reach an agreement this week.

Dar also added while talking to the media that all matters have been resolved and his ministry is making serious efforts to get the deal signed by the IMF.

When asked about the recent statement of Defence Minister Khuwaja Asif about Pakistan being already defaulted, Dar said Asif would be able to respond to this question in a better way.

A mini budget was recently passed in the parliament and heavy taxes were implemented to fulfill IMF’s demand.
