Over 80 Pakistani Companies Are Participating in GITEX Global 2023

Dubai is currently hosting a significant technology exhibition, with a notable presence of Pakistani companies and startups at GITEX Global 2023. Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT) officials have reported that a total of 56 Pakistani companies and 30 startups are actively engaged in this high-profile event. Of these, 26 Pakistani companies are participating officially, while 29 IT companies are joining privately.

Dr. Umar Saif, the Caretaker Minister for IT and Telecom, has also made his way to Dubai to represent Pakistan at GITEX. Accompanying him are officials from the Ministry of IT, Ignite, and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), along with the Federal Minister responsible for IT.

These Pakistani entities are making waves in diverse fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Metaverse, Agritech, and Edtech, showcasing their technological prowess. The Caretaker Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the Pakistan Pavilion, marking the nation’s presence at GITEX Global.

Zohaib Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (PASHA), shared insights during a conversation with ProPakistani, revealing that over 80 Pakistani companies, startups, and a multitude of delegates from Pakistan are actively participating in this event. He further emphasized the significance of Tech Destination Pakistan Connexxion Lodge, a prominent feature within GITEX Global 2023.

With such substantial representation and a strong focus on cutting-edge technology, Pakistan is positioning itself as a key player on the global tech stage at GITEX Global 2023. The event promises to foster collaboration, innovation, and a showcase of Pakistan’s tech capabilities.
