In response to the horrific floods in Pakistan, the French embassy in the country said on Thursday that it will send a 50-meter bridge and 83 contemporary high-efficiency water pumps to Pakistan.
The French embassy in Pakistan said it would work with the government to combat the devastation caused by the floods. They said 83 extremely efficient water pumps and other relief supplies would be sent to the country on a special plane.
The embassy also said 200 flood-affected households would receive emergency supplies. They also mentioned that a special group of French doctors would go to the affected areas and examine them.
France also announced the donation of a 50 feet long bridge to Pakistan. The bridge will be sent by ship to Pakistan in a few days. The bridge would be installed quickly in the affected areas, they added.
