Good news coming from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as it rises above 49,000 points in the early hours of Thursday.
The KSE-100 index managed to gain 578.13 points as compared to yesterday’s closing points of 48,764.55 and reached 49,342.68 points today morning.
Arif Habib Corporation took to Twitter and mentioned that the KSE-100 index achieved this milestone six years back on June 9, 2017. It also said that the market rose by 7,686 points, or 18.5 percent ever since Pakistan has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The stock market opened on a low note on Wednesday which is 48,178.89 during intra-day trading, the situation got better later in the day.
