PTI’s Ali Mohammad Khan Reacts to DG ISPR’s Presser

Islamabad, December 28, 2024 – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Mohammad Khan has responded to the recent press conference by DG ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

PTI’s Call for Judicial Inquiry

Khan emphasized that PTI has been advocating for a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9, expressing concern over the lack of such an inquiry to date. He stressed that any investigation should be conducted by a senior judge, preferably from the Supreme Court or High Court, to ensure impartiality and transparency.

Concerns Over Military Courts

The PTI leader also raised concerns about the use of military courts for trying civilians, arguing that justice should be administered transparently and independently, free from preconceived notions or external pressures. He stated, “The world accepts the decisions of independent constitutional courts, not those of military courts.
