Qavi Khan starred in Ek Nayee Cinderella alongside Maya Ali, and Osman Khalid Butt. The story of the drama was inspired by the ages old tale of Cinderella, however, a modern touch was given to make it more interesting. Khan played the role of Shah baba, the ruler of Shahbad. Durr-e-Shehwar hit the screens in 2012 and became talk of the town due to its storyline.
