Pakistani blockbuster movie, The Legend of Maula Jatt received appreciation worldwide. The star-studded movie became the talk of the town again when its Gandasa was put for sale in front of 7,000 people. The Gandasa was then sold for a Whopping $50,000 (nearly PKR one crore four million to a Pakistani based in Canada.
It is said that the proceeds will go to Sahara Life Trust.Actor The Legend of Maula Jatt actor Fawad Khan also participated in the event as a special guest. A musical show was also organized to raise funds for Sahara for Life Trust Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
The Legend of Maula Jatt has become the highest grossing Pakistani movie with more than Rs2.9 billion business so far. The movie started Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, Gauhar Rasheed and Shafqat Cheema and is still playing in cinemas.
