A fresh spell of torrential rain is expected to start from 28th April in Sindh. The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has also predicted flooding in different areas of Balochistan.

The Met Office, on Wednesday, issued a warning that the westerly system is causing depression in the Arabian Sea and Gwadar and Karachi have already started receiving its effects. The weather system is also likely to increase the temperature in Karachi and Mercury may touch 38 degrees on 27th April.

The torrential rains are expected to start from April 28 in Sindh and Balochistan with occasional gaps.

The Met Office has aldo warned that heavy rains could cause urban flooding in different parts of Sindh including Karachi and this system maybe more powerful than the one we saw in 2009.
