Sarfaraz Ahmed, ex skipper, said that he is hopeful that Pakistan will lift up the ODI World Cup 2023 trophy. The world cup is expected to start in India this October.
Ahmed, who is also part of the Pakistan cricket team, further said that the trophy should be won by any Asian team as the tournament is happening in this region.
He said, “I hoped Pakistan would manage to win the title again”.He also said, “It doesn’t matter if you win or lose in practice matches.”
Ahmed stated that that Karachi and Sri Lanka share the same weather, which might benefit our team. He also emphasised on arranging training sessions before the world cup.
