In a recent meeting, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Jawad Sohrab Malik urged the Al-Rashid Group, a prominent Saudi Arabian conglomerate, to increase its Pakistani workforce. The meeting, held at the company’s headquarters, was attended by a Pakistani delegation, including Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, DG of BEOE, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of OPHRD, and Embassy officers.
Malik expressed gratitude to Al-Rashid Group for its existing recruitment of Pakistani workers and encouraged further expansion of this practice. He assured full cooperation from Pakistan in facilitating the recruitment process.
“I am pleased to have met with Chairman Al-Rashid today to discuss opportunities for further cooperation between Pakistan and the Al-Rashid Group and very grateful for the chairman’s commitment to hiring Pakistani workers and his willingness to consider further recruitment from Pakistan,” Malik stated.
Chairman Rashid Saad Al-Rashid acknowledged the long-standing partnership between the Al-Rashid Group and Pakistani companies and workers, emphasizing the value of their contributions to the company’s projects. He reiterated the group’s commitment to continuing the recruitment of Pakistani workers and expressed openness to exploring new avenues of collaboration with Pakistan.
“We have a long and positive history of working with Pakistani companies and workers, value their contributions to our projects and are committed to continuing to hire Pakistani workers in the future. We are also open to exploring new areas of cooperation with Pakistan,” Al-Rashid stated.
The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the Al-Rashid Group, particularly in the realm of workforce expansion.
