Kamran Tessori Urges PM, Sindh CM to Declare Public Holiday on 11th Rabiul Awwal

Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has called on Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to declare a public holiday on 11th Rabiul Awwal in celebration of the religious significance of the day. Rabiul Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, is revered by Muslims for the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

11th Rabiul Awwal is considered a day of immense spiritual importance for Muslims around the world. Devotees engage in prayers, recitation of the Quran, and other religious activities to honor the Prophet’s birth and legacy. Tessori emphasized that declaring a public holiday would allow people to fully participate in these spiritual activities and observe the day in peace.

Religious scholars across Sindh have voiced their support for the governor’s request, noting that a public holiday would enable greater community participation in religious events and gatherings.
