Major Frozen Meat Export Deal Signed at FoodAg Exhibition

The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has secured a $5.2 million export order from Saudi Arabia’s Al Abeer Cold Store Trading Company, as disclosed in a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The agreement, signed during the FoodAg Exhibition in Karachi, involves the supply of private-label frozen meat products under Al Abeer’s brand in the Saudi market.

Shipments to Begin After Regulatory Approvals

The order is expected to be fulfilled within 12 months, with shipments commencing after all contractual and regulatory requirements are met. This deal highlights the growing demand for Pakistani meat products in the Gulf region. Al Abeer, headquartered in Makkah, is a leading importer and distributor of frozen food in Saudi Arabia, sourcing products from multiple countries, including Pakistan and India.

Boosting Pakistan’s Meat Export Potential

The agreement underscores TOMCL’s expanding footprint in international markets and reinforces Pakistan’s position as a key player in the global halal meat trade. As the company prepares to meet this order, the deal is expected to contribute significantly to Pakistan’s export revenue while strengthening trade ties with Saudi Arabia.
