Asad Umer, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms & Special Initiatives, signalled towards conducting regular classes in all educational institutions from 11th October 2021.

Umer made this announcement on Thursday via a tweet that read, “Based on the reduced level of disease spread and the launch of the school vaccination program, it has been decided in today’s NCOC meeting to allow all educational institutions to start normal classes from Monday the 11th of October.”

He is also the head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) and has been keeping us updated about the current situation of pandemics in Pakistan.

The educational institutions are one of the most affected sectors due to COVID-19. Ever since the pandemic has begun, either the institutions have completely shut down or operating online or on alternative days.
