Efforts are being made to resolve the situation, including discussions about a “hybrid model.” This could involve relocating India’s games to neutral venues like Dubai or Abu Dhabi, mirroring arrangements made during the 2023 Asia Cup. Primary host cities for the tournament in Pakistan—Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi—may also undergo changes to adapt to evolving conditions
The PCB has expressed readiness to cooperate with the ICC but has yet to receive formal requests regarding these alterations. Stakeholders are working to ensure the event proceeds without compromising its integrity or international participation
