An Indian commercial flight going from New Delhi to Doha made an emergency landing at Jinnah Terminal International Airport in Karachi. According to the sources at Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCCA), the flight reported a medical emergency after one of the passengers on board was not feeling well. The captain contacted the Karachi Air Traffic Control and sought permission to land on humanitarian grounds.

The officials at Jinnah Terminal International Airport quickly responded and allowed the plane to land. However, when the medical team examined the passenger, he had already died.

According to sources, the passenger was a Nigerian national and his name was Abdullah. After doctors officially declared Abdullah dead and all the necessary procedures and documentation was done, the flight took off to resume its journey. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and PCAA have issued death certificate of the deceased.
