In a new turn of events, Maryam Nawaz Sharif from Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) disowns the PML-N federal government a day after mini-budget was presented. The new Mini-budget comes with a lot of heavy taxes and price hikes which may impact the popularity of ruling party.
Considering all this, the PML-N ‘s Chief Organizer has distanced herself from the Mini-budget and the government who brought it.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif told the leaders and party workers, “This coalition government of nine parties is not our government. Our government will be that of Nawaz Sharif.”
She apparently said this to pacify her voters after the government announced RS 170bn in order to fulfill the prerequisites of the International Monterey Fund Program.
She also added, “Before November, someone else was running the government.”
Maryam had also met Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to sort out the differences.
