In preparation for the Men’s ODI Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan has made a significant addition to their squad. The talented left-handed batter, Saud Shakeel, has been included in the 17-member squad, adding depth to the team’s batting prowess. Meanwhile, the right-handed batter, Tayyab Tahir, will continue to be a valuable part of the squad as a traveling reserve.

The team’s journey to the tournament begins with their arrival in Multan on Sunday, August 27th. The following day will be a well-deserved rest day for the players.

To ensure that the players who participated in the Lankan Premier League are in optimal condition, the team management has provided some relaxation. On Sunday, Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, and Naseem Shah will make their way to Lahore and reunite with the squad on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, August 29th, the players will hit the practice field at the Multan Cricket Stadium from 16:30 to 19:30. Prior to the start of this session, the Pakistan captain will conduct a pre-series media conference to set the tone for the upcoming matches.
