On Wednesday, the price of gold in Pakistan experienced a slight dip, closing at Rs. 204,000 per tola, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA). The price of 24-carat gold decreased by Rs. 500 per tola, reaching Rs. 204,000, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs. 429, settling at Rs. 174,897.

After a significant increase of Rs. 800 per tola on Monday, the precious metal witnessed a substantial decline of Rs. 4,500 per tola. With today’s decrease, the cumulative decrease in gold prices over the past three days amounts to Rs. 4,200 per tola.

In the international market, spot gold exhibited a 0.5 percent rise to $1,942.15 per ounce by 1301 GMT. Similarly, US gold futures saw an increase of 0.5 percent, reaching $1,947.30.
