The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has reported receiving more than 19,000 complaints against telecom operators in August. These complaints, lodged by consumers across the country, primarily concern issues related to poor network quality, billing disputes, unauthorized charges, and customer service problems.
According to PTA’s monthly report, the majority of complaints were directed at major telecom operators, with the highest number being related to service quality and connectivity issues. The regulatory authority has assured that it is taking steps to address these grievances, emphasizing that operators must adhere to the standards set by the PTA.
PTA has encouraged consumers to continue reporting issues, as this feedback helps in improving telecom services in Pakistan. The authority has also warned telecom companies of stricter penalties if they fail to comply with service quality benchmarks.
