Tiktok, a platform owned by ByteDance, is expected to increase its e-commerce operations to $20 billion this year. The social media platform is looking at the Southeast Asian market to quadruple it’s merchandise sale.
According to Bloomberg, this increase will be $20 billion compared to $4.4 Billion last year.
TikTok Shop is particularly eyeing at the Indonesian market to increase its sale. TikTok’s e-commerce platform, TikTok Shop, allows customers to purchase things via links on the app during Live sessions.
