Where to watch first episode of CID Season 2?

After a six-year hiatus, the beloved investigative series is making its much-anticipated comeback with CID Season 2. ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijeet will return to solve gripping mysteries starting tonight, December 20, at 10 PM on Sony TV. Fans can also stream the episodes on SonyLIV.

The longest-running crime drama, which started in 1998 and ended in 2018 after a glorious 21 years of run, is known for its suspenseful storylines and iconic catchphrases like “Daya, darwaza todh.” The show became a cultural phenomenon. The return of CID has generated much excitement, and the viewers are eagerly waiting to see the thrilling new cases and their favorite characters in action once again.

CID Season 2: What to Expect

It has enough material to provide edge-of-the-seat entertainment with strong murder mysteries, high-stake rescue missions, and some dramatic character arcs in store. The trailer of last month did promise the fans an explosive storyline: A shocking confrontation between Daya and Abhijeet. It is under a heavy downpour as it portrays the efforts of ACP Pradyuman to diffuse tension and then suddenly, when Daya shoots Abhijeet in a jaw-dropping twist.

Joining are returning cast members Shivaaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, Dayanand Shetty as Daya, Aditya Srivastava as Abhijeet, Narendra Gupta as Dr. Salunkhe, and Dinesh Phadnis as Fredericks. B P Singh has come to direct the show. Singh was the mastermind of the original series.

The first two episodes of CID Season 2 are scheduled to air this weekend. Tonight, episode one will air, and then tomorrow at the same time, the second episode will air.
