Indian model Tania Singh’s tragic suicide has shocked many as she was found hanging in her room. The incident has taken a grim turn as police have summoned Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma for questioning, revealing that the two were known to be friends. Despite no suicide note being discovered, authorities are investigating Sharma’s connection to the case, given their friendship and recent communication.
Abhishek Sharma, a prominent figure in Indian cricket circles, has had a successful career, notably playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His stint with the Delhi Daredevils in 2018 marked a memorable debut, where he smashed an unbeaten 46 off just 19 balls. More recently, he has been associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and was expected to open for them in the upcoming IPL 2024 season. However, legal challenges loom over his participation as the investigation unfolds.
The Assistant Commissioner of Surat Police disclosed, “We have learned that Abhishek Sharma was friends with the deceased model.” Additionally, police revealed that Singh had sent a message to Sharma, but received no response from the cricketer. While the case has been initially filed as an accidental death, authorities are delving deeper into the circumstances surrounding Singh’s demise. Given Sharma’s prominence in Singh’s contacts, investigators suspect a potential romantic involvement, prompting them to summon him for a statement.
The tragic incident has not only cast a shadow over Singh’s untimely death but has also raised questions about the dynamics of her relationship with Sharma. As investigations progress, authorities are keen to uncover any possible links between the two individuals and shed light on the events leading up to Singh’s tragic demise.
